Wow made it to day 3 of writing!
So to pick up with yesterday. Was able to keep up H2O consumption. Breakfast was a protein bar.
Had a GREAT lunch at friend Marcia's house. Beef soup, grilled meatloaf with cheese sandwich and some noodles that I put into the soup. Along with half an apple worth of slices I was quite full till 5pm. Then I had tommy bread with butter. I was full for the day. Did get a little hungry as the night wore on but didn't eat anything more. oppss forgot I did eat three pieces of chocolate with fruit in them. dark chocolate! Had a little tummy ache after.. maybe chocolate?
Todays notes : Snoring was minimal according to Amazing Wife. Weight after wee wee was 154.4 (if I remember correctly). So I lost some although I had a full feeling most of the day.
Dashed out of the house running late to work. At 8:30 had a Pure Power protein bar.. trying to get some water down now.
Lunch will be brown rice bowl and broccoli soup (safeway). Didn't bring a lunch. Dinner tonight will be something from day 5 or at least that is the current plan.
Average aches, nothing I can feel when sitting still. left foot great, right foot ok.. a tad sore. haven't put the boot on today.

Woke up yesterday again with the ho hum feeling. Not really a bad mood but not good either.
I had a piece of the great tommy bread with butter and a decaf coffee with heavy cream. Got first 16 oz of H2O down and headed to work. Didn't bother with Dandelion tea as I figured the day would be blown after dinner with little brother.
Was mighty hungry around 10am so had a protein bar along with a very weak black tea.. and continued drinking water.
I have a 16 oz plastic bottle that I keep refilling to keep track of water intake.
Took off at lunch today to pick up the Amazing wifes Sauna! After stopping to vote went home and had the italian winter vegetables on spinach with goat cheese. Managed to get the whole thing down. wasn't so bad because of goat cheese.
Then went after the Sauna. That went off pretty well. Managed to break it down. Get it into the truck and home with no problems. Setting it up was pretty easy also.
Had a heck of a time finding a way to plug it in. Eventually bought and extension cord and put a 20a/120v plug on the end.
By now I was totally starving and looking forward to a family get together.
I happily went off to meet Amazing Wife, Brother, Becky and Mitchell.
Dinner was good and totally not on the PD plan. I probably ate 2 little loves of bread along with 8oz fillet mignon and a pile of mashed potatoes.
To date I have forgotten to mention the PD is supposed to help reduce inflammation. I mention this now because I have notice a bit more achyness the last two days. Not a lot but its there a bit more than normal.
This is something to pay attention to!
As I was exhausted last night I didn't prep anyones lunch or even make one for myself.
This morning was yet again a ho hum morning. I didn't want to get out of bed.. and while I am thinking about it I need to note I did SNORE.. I am noting we ate dinner at 5:30.
Weight gain was .8
I did bake the flax seed this morning so we are prepared for a few breakfasts. I am having lunch at Marcia's and she makes healthy soups so it won't be to crazy a day. Tonight will do the mango salsa chicken..Will keep water intake up as that helps a bit with hunger pangs. Will have a protein bar for breakfast shortly.
Tomorrow is a new day, thinking to perhaps start with day 4 and see if we can get back on track without returning to day 1. Side note I am wearing the boot at work today.. it definitely helps during the day.

I am not predisposed to writing in the least. However it seems it may help down the road to discover what I should and shouldn't eat.
The biggest reason for trying the Plan Diet.. is because, well I'll tell you later.
The Plan Diet seems to be the latest fad diet on the market. Reviews are for the most part positive. The PD plan is fairly simple. Start with simple foods and work other foods into your diet plan.
According to the PD we are FAT because of reactivity to foods. Well some comes from overeating of course and lack of exercise for sure but .. If you are reactive to say bread your body can see one slice as 1000 calories.
The book "The Plan" is a pain in the bum to work with. Always flipping pages to find recipes then back to the day to see what you need to eat.
Its takes some work to as well as some grocery shopping.
A main breakfast food is flax granola. Said to be tasty and addictive. NOT!
The good think I noticed is that weight loss is immediate. I am guessing it is from water weight and bloating that you would lose on any diet that dropped you to seeds for breakfast, veggies for lunch and dinner and for Me 80 ounces of water per day.
So we (my Amazing Wife) and I started the plan.
We stuck pretty much to the plan for 3 days. On the morning of the 4th day I had dropped 4lbs.
That evening was Pesach so we broke the diet with gefile fish, matzo ball soup and a variety of other passover foods. I had kept the water intake up.
Day 5 I gained back 1 pound
Day 6 was second night for a Pesach Dinner.. more matzo, egg, horseradish wine etc.
Guess what gained another pound.
Day 7 was Easter brunch with friends.. so what the heck! Ate bagels, cream cheese, cheese cake, jojo taters.. drank 80oz water..
Day 8 no wieght gain.
Day 9 we started the diet from day 3 and followed it closely, except added a protein bar and a slice of bread (recipe from Tom S added oats). and butter.
Day 10 dropped .2 lb, So today we are having dinner with My brother so that will blow this day.
The Amazing thing though and the reason to keep trying this diet is this. yes finally I will tell you.
I SNORE! Enough it keeps Amazing wife up at times. BUT since starting the diet the snoring has almost disappeared.
So I am bound to keep working with it to find the foods that could be the culprit. Could be just the bloating?? If so need to find the foods that do that.
Along with less snoring though my mood seems to have gone to the darker side. I have been hungry before and not affected by it as far a mood goes.
Could it be the body doesn't like veggies? Could it be the hunger pangs? Not sure but that is the reason I though to write the blog. If I can take notes about mood and what I eat perhaps we can cure the snoring but get back my morning GOOD moods!
